CARAVAN HIRE IN CORNWALL

Welcome to Cornwall! Our caravan is situated on the Harlyn Sands Caravan Park with a superb view overlooking Harlyn Bay on the North Cornish coast.

The site has a shop from which milk, papers, fresh bread and rolls may be obtained; it also carries a varied stock of general groceries etc. If you should wish to have a more extensive range, then St Merryn has a number of larger shops with a good butcher, post office and church.

The beach is a wonderful stretch of sand with sea conditions which range from gently lapping waves for the very young to heavy surf for the more adventurous and sporty visitors. The rock pools give endless hours of interest and the coastline has stunning views of Puffin island and Trevone bay.

The clubhouse (which is a respectable distance from our caravan) offers entertainment and a bar and there is a restaurant and take away service.

The charming village of Padstow, famous for its Mayday celebrations, is just three miles away and has several good eating places, a cinema (although it hardly ever rains!) and banks. Boats and fishing trips are available daily and there is a crazy golf course. Local brass bands play on the bandstand regularly during the summer. The famous Strand Bookshop has details of the concerts. There is also a summer show at the 'Little Theatre' but tickets go quickly. It's not the Palladium but you are likely to split your sides!

We have been visiting this part of Cornwall from when our children were very young and still continue to find delight in this area. There are many attractions and villages to visit within short distances, including the larger town of Newquay. The site office has leaflets of things to do in the area.
